The people in the community who everyone said were going to lead me to hell were actually the only ones who gave me a lifeline to survive. I needed more than a fable or a metaphor.

Currently, the host and producer of Marsha’s Plate, a weekly podcast that centers trans-inclusive pro-Black feminism and pop culture. Diamond is also the Executive Director of Black Trans Women Inc, a national nonprofit that is led by Black trans women focused on social advocacy, positive visibility, and building strong leadership among Black trans advocates, activists, and our allies.
