OC2: Rev Carla Robinson

My mama told me “You were my child. God gave me to you and I have no intention of letting you go.”

Then she lived it.

OtherWise Christian 2 v. 3

I knew of Rev Carla from her memorable entry in the Out of the Box documentary, but we had not crossed paths. Then, I stumbled on a YouTube sermon she had done, which I thought would be perfect for OtherWise Christian 2. So perfect that I made it our closer for section 2. I am grateful that we have friends in common who could put us in touch, and that she agreed.

Carla’s chapter, “Living at the Intersection,” will appear in OtherWise Christian 2: Stories of Resistance (March 2020) from OtherWise Engaged Publishing.
