Christian Faith and Gender Identity… There’s an app for that!

In other words, my seven-day devotional, titled, “Christian Faith and Gender Identity”… just launched on Our Bible App!

Our Bible App is a progressive alternative to Bible and devotional apps that are grounded in anti-LGBT politics and culture. Founder and CEO Crystal Cheatham invited me to write something in honor of Coming Out Day and the Philly Annual Trans March and it’s launching this week.

While the content is connected to OtherWise Christian: A Guidebook for Transgender Liberation, the tone is much more reflective and personal (since it’s a “devotional”).

This seven-day devotional series explores questions of gender identity through seven passages of scripture–a gentle introduction for transgender, intersex, and OtherWise-gendered folk as well as those who love us.

It references Genesis, Exodus, Matthew, Acts and Galatians. I would love to hear what you think!

Our Bible App and my devotional are free to access. OBA is ad-supported, but you can buy a monthly subscription to remove the ads.
