I am excited that the folks at United Methodist Alliance for Transgender Inclusion (UMATI) are hosting an online Bible/book study using OtherWise Christian: A Guidebook for Transgender Inclusion and the Group Discussion Guide. The conversations will happen online in the UMATI Facebook group starting this weekend!

This Saturday (August 24), they will start with introductions. Next Saturday (August 31), they will start working on Section 1 (chapters 1-3) and then go on from there. There are six sections of the book. Brian, one of the UMATI admins, will be leading the conversation. Since there are no live sessions, you can follow along as your schedule allows.

You must be a member of the UMATI Facebook group, in order to access the Bible/book study, but you don’t have to be a United Methodist (or trans)! To join, your Facebook profile must have existed for at least two months and they require 3 questions to be answered, then approval by an admin.
